Polar Night Week 2025

On 20-24 January 2025, a meeting of polar scientists from around the world, Polar Night Week 2025, took place in Longyearbyen (Spitsbergen). This year, the conference was exceptional, as it was combined with two events of particular importance to the Polish scientific community. The first was a summary of the scientific project HarSval Bilateral initiative aiming at Harmonisation of the Svalbard cooperation implemented by 11 partners from Poland and 14 partners from Norway. The second event was the opening of the Polish Logistics Centre BERA, which will serve scientists in their research. Professor Przemysław Niedzielski participated in these events.
